Why Tuesday

I’ve been blogging for over 5 years now, yet I don’t think I’ve ever done a post on why I post on a Tuesday.

But before we get to that let’s chat about every other day of the week – I’ve got words to drag out after all!

Seems counterproductive to begin anywhere other than Wednesday – it’s the day after Tuesday after all.

Wednesday, also known as hump day, is the day that when you’re past you know you’re on the home stretch to the weekend.

Thursday – this might be bold, but I’m going to say Thursday is the best day of the week. Thursday is classic – a couple of cheeky drinks on a Thursday is a wonderful thing, and really gets you in the weekend mood.

Then Friday, probably the least productive work day of the week, as all we can think about is the weekend plans.

Then along comes Saturday and we’re fully able to enjoy ourselves. It’s a day to leave all the worries behind.

Sunday turns up for us to do some rest and relaxation – or life admin – but it’s a chance to recover from the week before and prepare for the week ahead.

Monday – does anyone really love a Monday? But the fact it’s the first day of the week makes it special.

And then we arrive at Tuesday. And there’s nothing. No build up, no rest, no chore. It’s probably the most boring day of the week. It’s just standard, old Tuesday. So what better thing to do than give the people something to look forward to – a cheeky blog post! So the next time someone says Tuesday’s aren’t special, you can tell them they are because a new blog drops on Catherine’s Corner!
